I love helping CEOs and Executives thrive through times of change and even chaos. Because I’ve experienced a fair bit of excitement in my Executive career, I’m a calm and supportive influence that helps you navigate the twists and turns, while reinforcing the strengths that you bring.
Most importantly, I’m a trusted guide so everything you tell me goes straight into the vault. I don’t even share who I’m working with.
I know that business is more complex than ever, with a 24-hour media and stakeholder environment, and more megatrends than we saw coming. I’ve been there, having led reputational crisis management and stakeholder relations for state-wide companies during a high-stakes privatisation, election cycles and pricing disputes.
My career has provided a glimpse into many worlds (ports and logistics, utilities, NFP and charities, health and medical research, university, government, membership organisations). There aren’t many sectors that I haven’t worked in.
I'm well equipped to help you test out ideas from Board and Shareholder perspectives as I’ve chaired a board (Business Hunter), am currently a Non Executive Director, have worked as an Executive in commercial and government organisations and I'm currently lecturing in MBA business strategy.
I've earned four degrees (a Master of Business Administration graduating top of my class, a Master of Sustainability, a Graduate Certificate of Project Management and a Bachelor of Arts Communication Studies) and qualifications in company directorship, coaching and change management.
While I have a lot of knowledge at my fingertips, I respect that every person’s situation is unique. I’m here to listen and support you, weaving in information where it’s helpful but I won’t bore you to death with theories or my own war stories. I'm here to listen to and support you.
My passions include advocating for the wonderful business community of the NSW Hunter Region through Business Hunter and Business NSW, supporting new executives through my podcast (The Female Executive’s Survival Guide), quality time with the people I love, and lap swimming (the pool variety, not the ocean).
If you’re curious about coaching, email me your details at info@laureneyles.com.au or book a 15 minute call here and I’ll call you to say hi. I’m not into sales tactics or pressure. I believe in helping you find the right coach for the right time and that starts with a low key conversation.
Cheers,
Lauren Eyles

"Lauren coached my large, culturally diverse team (we are located in Sub-Saharan Africa) in the midst of the COVID lock-down via Zoom. I highly recommend engaging Lauren to any business or organisation that values staff growth and well-being and is looking for a highly respectful and sincere coach with a person-centred and outcomes focused approach.
Lauren asks insightful, though provoking questions that enables her to build solid rapport, trust and engagement with the staff, whilst maintaining absolute confidentiality on the matters discussed in each session. Lauren’s laser focus on personal growth challenges each individual to think laterally and the coaching session format effectively helps them to delve deep within themselves to find head-space in their busy lives to identify and clarify their unique personal and professional goals. Lauren was also able to recommend useful tools such as DiSC and a values exercise as an extension to the coaching program.
This investment in our staff was great value for money and came in under our training budget for FY 2020/2021. Lauren’s coaching achieved the strategic outcomes we sought, and she reliably delivered all services as contracted. We will continue to engage Lauren in the future."

"Working with Lauren was an opportunity to remind myself of my strengths and motivators. She really helped me to define goals, to identify any gaps and most importantly, she connected me back to the skills I already have that allow me to achieve those goals. It was helpful in many aspects of my life, both career and personal . We tackled big issues as well as simple techniques to apply. I’d highly recommend Lauren as a coach. Her genuine encouragement, gentle questioning and overall support made such a positive impact on both my mind and to my actions."

‘’Lauren has been an exceptional mentor to me. Her kindness, willingness to share her own experiences and wisdom while listening closely, are all qualities that I’ve learned from. Beyond that, as a mentor she has always tried to help me become a better version of myself. Her constant support has been invaluable. The best part of my mentoring relationship is the fact that I have gained a trustworthy supporter, a confidant, an advocate and an ally. Our conversations helped me grow immensely, both personally and professionally.”

"Working with Lauren was both challenging and comforting at the same time. Each session built on the previous one but the real magic was that all the ideas seemed to come from me! That is a reflection of Lauren’s style and her skill as a coach. I’ve grown in confidence over our time together. Just having dedicated time to focus on the issues I am dealing with, to get them ‘out there’ and to challenge my habitual ways of thinking, was pure gold. I highly recommend coaching – and Lauren in particular!"

"As a recent Biotechnology graduate looking to begin my career I have found it immensely helpful working with Lauren to identify my personal goals and to set up a five year plan. It enabled me to reflect on my own strengths and values in such a way that I can now readily identify and describe them to potential future employers. Her passionate, patient and engaging approach made the coaching sessions very comfortable and I would highly recommend Lauren to anyone commencing their career or seeking to further develop themselves."
